Whoops!

I just looked back at my last post and realized that I haven't been doing very good with my resolutions... and it's only the 11th! That's ok. I still have time to correct myself this week.

I am however, going to print up a bullet point list of my resolutions and put them on the fridge to help me remember them daily! I definitely disobeyed goal #2 last night when John made 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies for dessert... I'll just be extremely strict the rest of the week.

Today I am going to accomplish goal #1 by attending the Pilates class at PSU's rec center. I do feel that that would be considered a yoga style exercise. Plus, I'm excited to try something new. AND- the only time they offer yoga classes is early in the morning or while I'm in class. Boo!

So this week has been very interesting- school wise. I'm taking a class from a professor I had last quarter. I really enjoyed his class and the content was very straight forward. All we did was take notes, lecture, and then the midterm and final exam. Plus he's a great lecturer... when he talks it's actually interesting. So I signed up for another one of his classes and the course work is completely different! Biggest disappointment: Group Projects. I HATE, nay, DESPISE group projects. My other class is going to be a LOT of work. On top of the fact that she gave us a 6 page syllabus, she told me that I should drop the class and take it again after I have more Community Health courses under my belt. Um- it's a little too late to just be switching classes around. So, I'm going to have to suck it up, work my ass off, and just do it.

Nothing gives me the motivation to complete a difficult task like someone telling me that I can't/shouldn't do it.

Here's to a challenging winter quarter!
