Is it only Wednesday?

This week is kicking my butt! I don't know what it is, but I usually feel like the week flies by. This week feels like it is dragging on and on and on...

Today was particularly rough, especially for Daphne. We have been having abnormal weather: bitterly cold, clear, sunny, and dry. All this has caused Daphnes hair to be very staticky and hard to brush. This morning I spent at least 5 minutes brushing her hair while she was freaking out and crying. On top of that, she kept complaining that her ear hurt when I touched it. Pretty sure it might be an ear infection.

After the hair brushing fiasco, I realized that the sweater she put on had a huge hole in it. So we went to her room to change it, and when I pulled the sweater off it apparently caught her eye. So we had to deal with that for a few minutes.

We finally got on our way to school. Then I developed some sort of stomach ache. Mostly extreme bloating and cramping. I tried to work it off at the gym, with no luck.

I picked up Daphne only to find her covered in sand. In the hood of her jacket, in her hair, on her scalp, in her shoes, down her pants, everywhere.



On the way home she went on and on about how a boy at school dumped sand on her. So, I put her in the shower and got completely soaked as I tried to scrub sand out of her hair.

I am so done with today.
