Daphne calls coffee "yuck". John always tries to get her to try our coffee and she says "No, it's yuck".
And the other night I made quesadilla's with chicken, corn, and onions. This was out of desperation because we had just gotten back from vacation the day before and we hadn't gone shopping yet. So we didn't really have much to eat. Anyway, Daphne wasn't too enthused about the quesadilla's and didn't eat her dinner. After she refused to eat, we were hanging out for a few minutes in the family room and she started to mention that she was hungry. John told her to eat her quesadilla and she exclaimed "My quesadilla! I'm so excited!!!"
This morning I was getting ready for work and to keep Daphne busy, I let her play with my make up. She put make up all over her eyes. I let her go to school that way, because she wouldn't let me take it off. Just now, I told John about the make up on her eyes and I asked her "Daphne, are you wearing make up?" And she said "No, the rain drops got it".
Daphne also insists that mommy only likes girls and daddy only likes boys. Because boys match daddy and girls match mommy.
Other than talking about how cute Daphne is, there are a couple other things going on. We're moving to downtown Portland by September 1st. It's on the 28th street of downtown. We couldn't be more excited.
We just got back from Rockville Utah for the Terry reunion and it was a ton of fun. Here are some pictures
And a couple weeks ago Daphne supposedly got shampoo in her eye, and her eye had an owie.
